High strength and hardness: Alloy 410 plates exhibit high strength and hardness, making them ideal for applications that require resistance to wear, abrasion, and impact.
Heat treatable: These plates can be heat treated to enhance their mechanical properties, such as hardness, strength, and toughness. Heat treatment also improves the resistance to corrosion and oxidation.
Corrosion resistance: Alloy 410 plates provide good resistance to atmospheric corrosion, mild acids, alkalis, and various organic and inorganic chemicals. This makes them suitable for applications in chemical processing, food processing, and pharmaceutical industries.
Wear resistance: The plates offer excellent wear resistance, making them suitable for applications involving sliding or abrasive wear, such as pump components, conveyor systems, and valve parts.
High-temperature resistance: Alloy 410 plates can withstand high temperatures without significant loss of strength, making them suitable for applications in heat exchangers, furnace parts, and combustion chambers.
Machinability: These plates have good machinability, allowing for ease of fabrication and machining into complex shapes and components.
# 1 - Hot rolled annealed and descaled. Smooth decorative finish is not required.
# 2D - Dull finish produced by cold rolling, annealing and descaling.
# 2B - Smooth finish produced by cold rolling, annealing and descaling.
# BA - Bright annealed cold rolled and bright annealed.
# CBA - Course bright annealed cold rolled matte finish and bright anneal.
# 2 - Cold Rolled.
# 2BA - Smooth finish produced by cold rolling and bright annealing. A light pass using highly polished rolls produces a glossy finish.
